Basal Body Temperature Thermometer
I recommend the Geratherm Digital Basal Thermometer because it has the correct sensitivity and it has a backlit display. If you plan on coming to see me, please use Celsius! We carry them at Kingston Natural Route Health.
Cycle Tracking Apps
Cycle tracking apps are very convenient and can increase the ease of analyzing the information you gather. However, you may not be comfortable with the way they use the very personal data they collect. They use non-personally identifiable information. The cool thing is the research they conduct with the information. The not-so-cool thing is that they may sell the information to third parties. If you know of a cycle tracking app that does not do this, please let me know!
Ovia - This app is my favourite one to work with because it allows export of data into a database file, which allows me to crunch the numbers easily
Glow - I like the interface of this app and I think the research articles they publish are interesting.
Natural Cycles - This app is actually certified as a medical device.
Kindara - You can buy a thermometer that sends your temperature directly to your phone to use with this app.
Ovagraph - Is developed with Toni Weschler, authour of Taking Charge of Your Fertility. They use non-personally identifiable data internally, but they do not sell it.
LH test strips - the cheap version of an Ovulation Predictor Kit
